2 Year Old Rhyming Invites

Day Two: San Marcos Square

The only open space between the narrow streets of Venice is the Piazza San Marco. In it, the imposing Basilica of San Marcos, tourist could be. Every evening at about 8 pm, the sea water begins to rise and cast on the pavement to the surface, filling almost full. At about 11 pm, anyone can move there, unless it carries gondola. Wonder how they do nothing to fix, but we say it can not fix it, each time the tide flooded the square, and that it will happen one day Venice, inevitably is going to sink, she and all the wonder that has ... the consolation is that we reach her before that happens ...

Square in San Marcos began on day two. Facing it shows the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, with its towering buildings. It is also possible to see one of the "tails" of the island, with the Basilica of the Salute, which was also visited. All of our stay was walk, walk and walk, because as I said, transportation is boats, and after paying an arm and a leg and half of another to ride in a gondola, the rest was travel around the island on foot. But it's worth, frankly, every corner of Venice is a dream like a story, those places that one should not miss in life, pucha, slice. Magda
